weeping buddha..in memory of ones lost to cancer
this is an artwork created in reaction to a friend sending me a picture of his trip to japan. the picture was of a candle lit for my dad and one lit for his mom under a giant buddha at a very old buddhist temple. our parents both recently passed away to cancer. It was a very powerful photo to see and I am forever grateful for him to do that for me.
in this work you'll see the candles for there memory which can now burn digitally forever. The swords represent the fight of the enemy that cancer is.
