Hey fellow steemers,
Today I made 'Mukimo' which is a traditional Kenyan dish from my tribe Kikuyu.
I really dont know what to call it in English.. But here are the steps.
You will need

  1. Boiled green maize
  2. Boiled green peas ( you can also use beans)
  3. Potatoes
  4. Boiled green pumkin leaves ( boil them with a little baking soda to soften) and then blend
    Preparation.
    Peel potatoes and boil them

When they are soft, add the maize and peas and boil them alittle more to soften.

Continue mashing and incoporate everthing together until the dish is a lovely green colour

And its done! You can eat it like this or fry it with oil and lots of onions ( I like it this way).

Am having it with beef stew and steamed cabbage.

What do you call this dish in your language?
Bon appetite! 😊
