RE: [ARTICLE] The Monkey Business of Laboratory Animals

in #animal7 years ago (edited)

Thank you for sharing.
Some things that we definitely can do: avoid non medical products tested on animals. Apparently it forbidden in EU to test cosmetics on animals, and I'm sure for Germany.
Strive for healthier lifestyle- hopefully less medication (of course this is over generalization)
Also sadly a lot of everyday items are tested on animals (glue is one I've heard), so a bit more awareness with what we buy and if we really need those things. Also try to reuse what you can :)

Informative comment!
I will try to do my part :)

Sadly for us vegetarian didn't really work out. Haven't seen tofu or black beans yet and we got sick of what we did have(I'm currently in Skopje). But at least I try to lower meat amount and bought more containers instead of using foil and sandwich bags.(switched to Froch for almost everything) Also got a few handkerchiefs instead of tissues (my sinuses are a bit problematic), and kitchen cloths to use less paper towels. Stove top popcorn is so much better than microwave baggies. (And all of these things even save us money :) )
I hope little things can help overall.
