True Anarchy, Installment 3: THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING YOURSELF

in #anarchy7 years ago (edited)

Without individual minds interacting, agreeing, disagreeing, debating, and clashing with each other, there can never be any hope for an even remotely peaceful society. The reason for this being that coerced collectivism must by necessity result in the maximization of the potential for violent conflict.

This potential is maximized under forced collectivism because the will of one individual, or a few individuals, can never accurately reflect the unique wants, needs, and wills of billions of other individuals. This results in conflict, and often, if dissent is encountered, violent conflict.

Forced collectivism also cannot accurately or effectively deal with the reality of scarcity and the need for resources, where minimum violence and the sustenance and nourishment of life is held as a value.

The message?

BE YOURSELF, OR SOMEBODY ELSE IS GOING TO DO IT FOR YOU.

BE YOURSELF.

TO BE SOMEONE YOU ARE NOT IS TO NOT ONLY HARM YOURSELF, BUT THE WHOLE OF HUMANITY!!!

Why?

You have a singularly unique and inimitable perspective that can serve as a guide for your fellow individual, just as theirs might serve as a welcome guide for you and your life. In this sense, we are a decentralized network of independent and interdependent individuals. Kind of like a blockchain, but with humans.

Thank you for what you do. You remind people of the great being each of us is. Keep it up. I follow now for more of this series - liked each of them!
The picture is how I see you - out of the system, but the same time out of your own borders %))

If we properly understand ourselves to be nothing but fractals of the consciousness of the cosmos, then we see that we are all leaves on the same tree.

Trying to be like someone else is thus foolish, because progress and development depends on us each expressing who we are and the system trusts that this distributed processing, this parallel processing, will create not only resilience but also novelty.

Trying to be a monoculture is how we get destroyed by mind viruses.

Polyculture is what nature is when it is healthy.

Rejoice in your fellow man's successes and learn from your fellow man's mistakes. Don't succumb to the mind virus of political correctness.

Trying to be a monoculture is how we get destroyed by mind viruses.

Holy shit, this is an excellent way to put it!

Agreed. In order to propel humanity in a more enlightened direction, we have to do the exact opposite of what we have raised to do (uphold the group), and, instead, argue for and live as an individual with a born right to exist as an individual. Easier said than done at times. I realize this. Yet what worth doing is easy?

Live your life from your heart. Great post.

I agree with you. being yourself and keeping it real will add more value to your name or brand and people will see the uniquness in you. Doing a great job buddy, keep it up.

Always be your fckin self and no one else!... Great post bro

I agree...good point

This is very true, especially as early as it is in the Steemit community. Some do it out of interest, some out of time to burn, some out of the payout regime and many more reasons. This diversity is good, for as long as there is diversity. When this balance is no more a balance, my predicament would be when steemit finally gains full momentum then who knows... It will happen so quickly that we would already be dealing with the aftermath and that is all we would remember... just my thoughts! Cheers!

Thank you for this beautiful post! Great words :)

Same here...haha

true and powerful words bro! resteem! :)
