I'm at the Mall of America here for Super Bowl weekend and Adrian Peterson showed up! He's a hero of mine so this made my year! If people don't know who this is, he's a top 5 NFL running back of all time and a surefire 1st ballot hall of famer. Here are some of his accolades: As a true freshman in 2004 at Oklahoma he set the NCAA freshman rushing record with 1,925 yards. As a unanimous first-team All-American, he was the first freshman to be the runner-up in the Heisman Trophy balloting. He finished his college football career as the Sooners' third all-time leading rusher after just three years - one of which was cut short due to injury. Next up: the NFL!
My hometown Minnesota Vikings drafted this beast 7th overall in the 2007 NFL draft. Immediately he became the best running back in the world. He displayed this especially in a game against the Chargers setting the single game rushing record of 296 yards in his rookie year! He proceeded to win Offensive Rookie of the year honors to nobody's surprise. He then went to win Pro Bowl MVP that first season. This was only the beginning, however. In 2012, he gained 2097 yards on the season, just 9 yards short of the all time record. He won MVP honors that season. His accomplishments are a laundry list that might be as long as the Bible. His top awards and accomplishments are summarized below : 7× Pro Bowl (2007–2010, 2012, 2013, 2015)
4× First-team All-Pro (2008, 2009, 2012, 2015)
3× Second-team All-Pro (2007, 2010, 2013)
NFL Most Valuable Player (2012)
NFL Offensive Player of the Year (2012)
2× Bert Bell Award (2008, 2012)
NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (2007)
3× NFL rushing yards leader (2008, 2012, 2015)
2× NFL rushing touchdowns leader (2009, 2015)

He was just released by the Arizona Cardinals. Where do you think he's going next? I'm guessing Cincinnati Bengals. Comment below and let me know what you think!
