Three Mile Run and Watching INEOS 1:59 Challenge

in #actifit5 years ago (edited)

Another easy 3 mile run, slowly working my way back into running. Dreaming of being able to run fast again.

I'm currently watching the INEOS 1:59 Challenge and hoping that Eliud Kipchoge will break 2 hours in the marathon. He has to run an average of 68 seconds per 400 meters, or 4:32 person 1600 meters in order to be under 2 hours.

I used to be able to do that for 2ish miles and maybe one day before I am to old I can get near that again for a couple of miles!

As I watch him run it motivates me really focus on my fitness again. I know I can get there again one day.

I also got a nice little photo after my run was complete, didn't jump in the water. Although I think I should of, it was pretty warm today.
