Bernie
He would talk constantly about Bernie, his psychiatrist. I had been dating him for a few months in my college years. Out of curiosity I made some appointments with Bernie.
Bernie never really said anything. Never really even asked me any questions. I just talked about whatever I wanted to and he listened chewing on an unlit cigar. $75 a session.
But one day he spoke. He said, "All anyone really needs is someone to love and something to do."
It was profound. After that I stopped going to him. I had found what I was looking for. The Essential Truth can speak through anyone... Thank you Bernie it was worth every penny and more.

Chewing on a cigar... how old fashioned I thought they were all doodling (or clipping their nails if not daydreaming).
How true Bernie's words are although "something to do" (change it into a lot to do) works too.

Like many I have a "lack" of time. But I do try to read daily. I hope it will stimulate others to do the same and listen if needed. Sharing, discussing, listening is also part of writing.
